NURTURING INDIVIDUAL POTENTIAL: INTERVENTION FOR NEURODIVERGENT CHILDREN

The Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI) approach is available to children aged under 9 with a developmental delay or disability.

NeuroGlimmer’s services may be funded through your child’s NDIS plan, depending on your plan’s goals and support categories.

We recommend checking with your NDIS planner or support coordinator to confirm eligibility.

At Neuroglimmer, we understand how complex NDIS funding applications can be.

Whether you're applying for the first time or need assistance with a review, our expert team is dedicated to guiding families like yours through the entire process, ensuring you access the support you need

Enhanced Primary Care Plan (EPC)

Children with a chronic medical condition may be eligible for Medicare-funded allied health services, including occupational therapy. Up to five sessions per calendar year are available with a valid GP referral and care plan

Better Access to Mental Health Treatment Plan

The Better Access initiative provides Medicare-funded mental health services for individuals experiencing mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, or behavioural difficulties.

Children and young people may be eligible for up to 10 individual therapy sessions per calendar year with a psychologist, occupational therapist, or other approved mental health professional.

To access this funding, a GP Mental Health Treatment Plan, or a referral from a psychiatrist or paediatrician, is required.

These sessions aim to support emotional wellbeing, coping strategies, and mental health development.

Complex Neurodevelopmental Disorder and Disability (CNDD) Medicare Support

Children with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or another eligible neurodevelopmental condition may be able to access Medicare rebates for allied health services under the CNDD pathway.

This includes:

  • Up to 4 sessions for assessment (available once, before age 13)
  • Up to 20 sessions for intervention (to be used before age 15)

These services can support skill development, communication, behaviour, and daily functioning.

A referral from a paediatrician or psychiatrist is required to access these sessions, and services must be delivered by approved allied health professionals.
